Jasper Pedestal

Jasper is actually a collective name for different varieties of quartz. Because the quartz enters into different types of compounds with other minerals, you get the most beautiful colors and patterns.
All these types of jasper each get their own nickname, often unidentified species are also quickly placed under the name of jasper. They call this species chevron amethyst.
